Excavation Services
We prep house lots and driveways across central and southern Maine, from Auburn and Lewiston to Brunswick, Gray, and beyond. That includes clearing trees and stumps, stripping loam, cutting in building pads, and rough/finish grading so water drains away from your home. We dig trenches for water, power, and drainage, install culverts and roadside ditching, and place gravel and screened loam. If we hit ledge (common in Maine), we can hammer and remove what’s needed. We also set up erosion control to keep soils in place during storms.
Septic System Installation
We handle new and replacement systems for homes, camps, and lake properties. Our work includes digging and setting tanks and pumps, installing leach fields, adding risers for easy cleanouts, and tying into existing lines. We coordinate with licensed designers and local code officers, help with test pits, and restore lawns and driveways when we’re done. Soils vary across Maine—sand, clay, and ledge—so we size and place components to match the site and protect nearby wells and waters.
Foundation Excavation & Installation
We dig to the proper depth for houses, additions, and garages, then set accurate grades for footings and walls. We prep slab bases with gravel and compaction; after the pour we backfill carefully, install perimeter drains, and fine-grade for clean runoff. Need a walkout basement, bulkhead, or utility trench? We cut those in cleanly. We also coordinate waterproofing and insulation details when needed to help keep the space dry.
Demolition
We remove small homes, mobile homes, garages, sheds, barns, decks, and old concrete. We load out debris, recycle what we can, and leave the site graded and ready for what’s next—whether that’s a new build or a clean open lot.
